BSc(Med) MBBS MMed FCCP FRACP
Dr Donald Lee is a consultant adult respiratory and sleep physician, and the Practice Principal at Nepean Lung and Sleep. His clinical interests include assessment of sleepiness, sleep disordered breathing, complex Sleep Apnoea, COPD, asthma, pulmonary thromboembolic disease and lung cancer.
MBBS MD FRACP
Dr Saurabh Gupta graduated from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University. He then undertook MD (Medicine) and conducted one year research in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Dr Benjamin Ng is a fully qualified Respiratory and Sleep Physician, recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2008. He obtained his MBBS at the University of NSW, and undertook medical registrar training at RPAH before completing his sub-specialty training at St George and Auckland hospitals.
BDS (Hons) MSD (ortho) MPhilMed (Sleep Medicine)
Dr Joachim Ngaim graduated with honours in Dentistry from the University of Sydney and holds Master’s degrees in Dentistry (Orthodontics) and Medicine (Sleep Medicine). He is a Research Fellow/Visiting Dental Officer in the Respiratory and Sleep Department at the Royal North Shore Hospital. He has been awarded the Rudolf Gunz University of Sydney Medal in 1992 and received the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Research Awards in 2011 and 2012.
BSc MBBS FRACP PhD
Dr Yasmina Serinel is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician. She graduated from Sydney University Medical school and completed her specialist training at Concord and St Vincent’s hospital. She undertook a clinical research fellowship in Sleep medicine at the Woolcock Institute before completing a Sleep PhD through Sydney University with an NHMRC scholarship. Her research work in hypertension and sleep apnoea led to awards such as The New Investigator Award, the Sydney University Medical School Deans Publication Prize, and several scholarship awards to present her novel work at international conferences. She has first-author publications in prestigious peer reviewed international journals such as Thorax.

Gracie is Practice Manager at Nepean Lung and Sleep, a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and an Accredited Clinical Physiologist (Sleep). As part of her responsibility for the overall operations and development of the clinic, she liaises with hospitals, specialists and pathology providers on behalf of our patients and physicians; develops personnel policies; maintains equipment; orders medical supplies; and ensures compliance with all government guidelines.
Grace takes pride in contributing to the success of the clinic, and ensuring all patients are given access to good medical services. She enjoys the genuine spirit of cooperation amongst the team, which revolves around helping our patients in the best possible way.
Natalie Gauci is a Certified Respiratory Function Scientist (CRFS) and Clinical Physiologist in Respiratory and Sleep (ACCP). As our Respiratory Laboratory Manager, she is responsible for the overall performance of our laboratories; training scientific staff and driving professional development; developing and implementing policies and procedures within the laboratory, maintaining laboratory statistics and implementing a rigorous quality assurance program.
She also builds relationships with various manufacturers and suppliers, and ensures we maintain an accredited TSANZ respiratory testing facility.
Natalie is currently studying a Master of Philosophy in Medicine at The University of Sydney. She is also the study coordinator for a international study on patients with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of asthma and/or COPD.
Erin is a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) and an accredited Clinical Physiologist in sleep. She is responsible for the performance of the sleep laboratories, training scientific staff, maintenance of NATA laboratory accreditation and the technical and clinical provision of high-quality diagnostic and treatment investigations for patients with the full range of sleep disorders, as well as conditions associated with respiratory failure.
Erin is adept at managing Nepean Lung and Sleep’s large fleet of sleep and respiratory equipment, including the latest technology advancements. She enjoys assisting patients with their sleep and respiratory health journey, and recently contributed research with colleagues from other sleep laboratories to the 2019 Sleep Down Under Conference.
